They helped to find the missing pieces and re-arranged their schedules to accommodate the extra work required. Bit thought I needed my 2 burner cooktop replaced because another dealership had told me it needed an obsolete part. When I called Hiemstra Jim in the service department recommended JD’s RV salvage. When I took it to them it turned out I did not need a part at all - the burner just needed to be taken apart and cleaned. Hiemstra Trailer saved me well over a thousand dollars by recommending JD’s. Next time I need repairs done I will be going to Hiemstra.

Always a good selection of parts available in stock. Especially those little oddball things that you rarely need and can't wait for it to be special ordered in as it may be a minor item that is a necessity to have immediately to prevent further damage to something.

Carry is great bought our Trailer over a month a ago Jen the accountant for banks to get approved love her so understanding and funny the service to get the new Trailer set up was great and just found out we don't have hose for the propane griddle so they are coming here and to put new screw in one of the windows for the trailer love this company

Not only was I really impressed with how thorough the team at Hiemstra was in inspecting our new to us trailer, but the service centre went above my expectations in servicing a mechanical issue we caused the day before a long weekend camping trip. They squeezed us in first thing on the Friday morning and made the fix immediately (replaced the electronic tongue lifter so we could attach the trailer to our truck) knowing how pressed we were for time. They also did the work at a very fair price. Very professional and very happy with the service! I would recommend this company.

Super happy with my new 2023 Jayco Swift camper van. (A second Jayco purchase from Heimstra’s: 2012 Eagle Ultralight.) Carrie and Kayla were so easy to deal with that they feel like new-found friends. Jeff in parts has the patience of a saint and has given me excellent follow-up service for everything from hoses and chemicals to mats and time consuming propane set-ups plus answers to a few dumb questions. I feel especially secure knowing the griddle and firepot have been set up AND tested by a professional before going on my way. I’m looking forward to an excellent season in a camping (or should I say glamping) vehicle that checks every must have box on my list plus a few I hadn’t even thought of!

I met the team at Hiemstra's last year. Carrie was a complete jem. This was my first experience with an RV. I do drive a crew cab pick up but my 26 footer was a new experience. Jennifer assisted me through all the warranty work and took many phone calls long after my purchase because of my questions. She was very patient and supportive. They also took me out in the back parking lot so that I could practice my turns and experience the length of the frame before going out in public traffic. As with any brand new purchase, there can be some quirks and the fellas in service have been incredible. Malcolm at the service desk is a wonderful person with a lot of knowledge. Service from the parts desk was utterly amazing also. I purchased a cover for the winter and they were very patient in answering all my queries and questions and making sure I got what I needed. There was a spot of wear in the spring when we took it off and they just took it off my hands no questions asked. They were so supportive and patient through the process of getting the right one. As I said, I am new to all of this and nervous. The people at Heimstra's have treated me very well and I am thankful to all of them.

She was up to date with information on hitch purchase in order to be able to tow. She made it possible to pick up the trailer on earlier date. When showing us the trailer, she wasn’t always in our face pushing us. She made sure all of our questions were answered and if she did not have the answer she researched it. She made the experience exciting and personnable and we were proud to say she had helped us in this important purchase.

Bought our very first brand new trailer from Hiemstra. Carrie, our sales person was super nice, she was not a high pressure sales person at all. It is refreshing to not feel pressured into something that you are not wanting. I was looking at the trailers online first so knew what I was looking for and she didn't try to change my mind and sell something more expensive or bigger than what I went to look at. She welcomed us to look at others but wasn't pushy about it. I am looking forward to actually getting the trailer and start camping this year. They are storing it for me until the season starts and then delivering it to my site as I don't have a truck to pull a trailer. my experience was fantastic. A real Class Act. I bought a toyhauler and life took place so I had to sell it. Naturally i had to make sure it was winterized so it went back to Hiemstra. They discovered a leak in the hot water tank. In the mean time I had adverized on Kjjiji and a wonderfull couple came and liked the trailer. In addition while assebling all the paperwork for the buyers I had discovered a recall notice regarding the propane regulator control unit. Long story short the Hiemsra servicemen fixed everything on time for the buyers.. It made it a special day for everyone and I could not be happier. We purchased a new tent trailer from Hiemstra's 15 years ago. The overall experience was wonderful and we have had many great years with a growing family and our trailer. Recently, after many years of great service, the fridge was no longer cooling properly and I made a call to Hiemstra's for some help in troubleshooting. Alex in service was so helpful in providing me information on the phone and via several emails. With his assistance, I was able to fix the problem perfectly - without a trip to the service department. The fridge is back to work, thanks to Alex. Hiemstra's has always gone above and beyond for all our needs. They are excellent to deal with.
